When you add a credit or debit card to your Pie Wallet, you may see a small temporary charge of around $1 USD or the equivalent in your local currency.
This is a pre-authorization used by our payment provider to verify that your card is valid. It is not a permanent charge.
When will it disappear?
The pre-authorization should be automatically released and disappear from your account, usually within a few business days.
The exact timing may depend on your bank or card issuer.
