We recommend keeping your Tax Free purchases with you and in a condition where they can be easily identified and inspected until you have completed the required steps in the Pie VAT app.
Depending on your departure details, you may be asked to show your purchased goods before leaving Norway. If this applies to you, the goods need to be available for inspection and should match the purchase shown on your receipt.
For this reason, we recommend not using or consuming your purchases before completing any required validation.
Once you've completed the steps shown in the Pie VAT app, make sure you take the goods with you when you leave Norway.
