If you forgot to ask for Tax Free when making your purchase, you can return to the store and ask them to create a Pie VAT Tax Free order for you.
Make sure to bring:
Your original purchase receipt
The goods you purchased
The store needs to create the Tax Free order for you - you cannot create it yourself in the Pie VAT app.
Once the order has been created, you’ll receive your personal 6-digit Claim Code by SMS or email. Use this code to find and claim your purchase in the Pie VAT app.
Good to know
We recommend asking for Tax Free when making your purchase whenever possible. If you forget, return to the store before leaving Norway and remember to bring both your receipt and purchased goods.
