The following steps may not be applicable to your device.

It's recommended that you confirm eSIM compatibility by contacting your device manufacturer or carrier.

iOS

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap General

  3. Tap About

  4. Your device is unlocked if “Carrier Lock” says “No eSIM restrictions”

  5. Your device supports eSIM if the “Available SIM” section has an IMEI

Android

Google Pixel

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap Network & Internet

  3. Tap the “+” next to SIMs

  4. Your device supports eSIM if “Download a SIM instead?” option is available under Connect to Mobile Network.

Samsung

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap Connections

  3. Tap SIM Card Manager

    • If you cannot find SIM Card Manager, your device likely does not support eSIM

  4. Your device supports eSIM if the “Add mobile plan” option is available

Other

  1. Open your phone app

  2. Dial *#06# and press the call button

  3. Your device supports eSIM if an EID is shown
