When the Merchant report taxes, they can download a report (generally quarterly or yearly) of all the VAT refunds done through Pie. They can submit this alongside their normal VAT payments to the government to show which purchases were VAT-exempt. This download can be accessed through the Web App for download (piesystems.io => merchant login).
